Update: Greene Concepts (INKW) Continues Growth and Establishment in Beverage Market

Greene Concepts (OTC:INKW) is a bottled water company that supplies natural artesian spring water branded Be Water(TM), captured from one of the company’s seven spring water wells. Be Water contains natural hydrating minerals that come from free-flowing springs in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Due to the calcium, magnesium, and silica contained in this water, it has a soft refreshing taste and positive health effects. These minerals are beneficial for bones, muscles, and for strengthening the nervous system. Also, spring water helps to neutralize the acidity in the body and reduces the damage caused by free radicals. Greene Concepts also supplies Happy Mellow, its branded CBD- infused beverage, which offers advanced immune support formulations that include Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, and Vitamin B-12.

INKW Built Convincing Wellness-Oriented Water Brands

As consumers become ever more health conscious, the demand for bottled spring water as well as wellness drinks is increasing around the globe. With that, INKW gains a competitive advantage, which is coming from its formulations of products for target audiences due to unique health benefits, attractive taste, and wellness features, including CBD.

The market for cannabidiol and other types of wellness beverages and low sugar content drinks, has one crucial driver- they are in high demand by millennials. This allows smaller beverage players like INKW to effectively compete in the energy, health, and functional beverage markets, which are less dominated by larger players than in the traditional soft drink market.

In addition, Be Water stands out because it uses water form certified springs producing natural artesian spring water that comes from underground wells. Unlike traditional wells which require a pump, water in artesian wells moves to the surface naturally due to pressure. Most bottled water competitors, however, supply purified municipal tap water.

Expanding Retail Footprint on the Wave of Growing Consumer Demand

With INKW’s access to a base of self-replenishing artesian wells, in a sub-tropical rain forest in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the company is capable of taking advantage of a surging artesian water popularity among consumers. Due to this, it achieved multiple corporate milestones over the last 12 months, and managed to expand its retail presence both online and in physical locations.

On June 28, the company announced that its Be Water 6-pack line is now displayed and available online for purchase. The listing is now live on Amazon as four 6-pack bottle configurations, or a total of 24 bottles.

On June 8, INKW announced that it would be rolling out the delivery of its Be Water product to multiple retail outlets through Piggly Wiggly’s Southeast division via its partnership with Merchants Distributors (MDI)

As the company has been expanding the list of retail locations, it is expanding its bottling plant size from 60,000 square feet to 80,000 square feet. It is also in the midst of installing another high-speed production line to keep up with increased demand from larger national retailers.

The company released Be Water’s new six pack configuration, which is popular among many retailers due to the product’s smaller size, scenic packaging, and quality taste. The product is now available in six-pack, 24-pack, and soon-to-be-released gallon sized configurations.

On March 21 INKW said it secured new retail distribution of its bottled water product to five hundred grocery stores and Lowes Foods, and both now carry Be Water’s six-pack configurations throughout the Eastern U.S., with the number of new grocery outlets growing to over 500.

Be Water is also sold at All Camping World retail locations covering over 185 spots across 42 U.S. states.

In addition, via Horizon Beverage. the second largest liquor distribution company in New England, the company’s Be Water is now available in many New England retailers and liquor stores. Added to that, all eight Florida Turnpike service plaza locations provide its products, as well as the company’s first retail vendor, Santa Rosa Band of Cahuilla Indians Pit Stop gas station and convenience store in California along with many local stores and businesses in North Carolina.

With the convincing nature of its brand and successful sales efforts, the company has managed to reach a wide footprint being present in over 1,800 locations including KeHE, MDI, Lowes Foods, c-store, and other grocery/retail outlets.

INKW is working towards achieving further corporate milestones over the next 12 months, which include the expansion of the broker network and increasing the speed and manufacturing capacity of its Be Water product. The company also expects to add one or two new co-packer facilities, strategically located to reduce freight costs and meet current volumes and future growth goals to further support national distribution.

The company also plans to continuously expand its retail presence and add new staff, anticipating that it will need to hire approximately two to three more people on the corporate level for the purpose of supporting the broker, distributor and retailers and their logistical and accounting requirements. In addition they are increasing the number of support personnel at its bottling plant. Investors should therefore watch closely for future news as the company continues to grow across various bottled water segments and sales increase.
